Maps and memorizing countries

Memorize the countries throughout your region using the following online games and quizzes.

Groups
11 Central America / Caribbean
Memorize all the countries on the map on page 236

16 Central Western Europe
Memorize all the countries on the map on page 324 and their neighboring countries (see map p.22)

17 Mediterranean Europe
Memorize all the countries on the map on page 349 and their neighboring countries (see maps pp.22, 24) 

20 Russia
Memorize all the countries that once formed part of the Soviet Union and neighboring countries (maps pp.414, 425, 26)  

25 North Africa
Memorize all the countries on the map on page 522 and their neighboring countries (see maps pp.22, 24)  

32 Japan / Korea
Memorize all the countries north of the equator on the map on page 635.

Base maps for extra credit project.
Please use a poster size blank outline map as the basis for your extra credit map (due Wednesday, March 7)
Ask Mr. Alan to help you, or follow these directions to make your own:

Do a search for a LARGE blank outline map of your country or look for one here

Save the image, and then load it up to http://www.blockposters.com/step1.aspx
Follow the steps to make a pdf file. Print it out and put the pages together.
