Assignment: The maps below show the languages used in Twitter messages and provide a detailed view of the geography of language. Open up the full size map of your region in the browser (right click on the map and choose "view image", or "save image as" and open it in the browser). Then open up Marble Maps "atlas mapview" and analyze what languages are spoken where. What does this twitter map tell us? Be prepared as a group to present your findings to the class.
